Former Pittsburgh Court of Common Pleas Judge Ray Novak Supports a Legal Intern through Pitt Law School

A lot of the work we do involves finding legislative solutions for scenic problems: revising and updating zoning, enforcement of regulations, and finding legal precedents from which to fight billboards and poorly planned development.

So this donation by Judge Novak directly supports our work in a very important way. Having a legal intern on staff is crucial to moving our mission forward and keeping up the fight for scenic resources in southwestern PA.

As a result of Judge Novak’s generous support, we were able to add a new staff member in August 2020: welcome Alex Thomas! Alex will be working on reviewing and updating the City of Latrobe’s zoning, as well as working on some ongoing legal initiatives that we are looking forward to announcing soon.
