We are continuing to work with our partners Allegheny Cleanways and Landforce to clean and shape this amazing forest patch in the middle of the Northside of Pittsburgh. Following some major cleanups this spring and summer, this fall we focused on creating a safe entrance to the space and making paths along its entire length. We can now report that initial brush clearing extends all the way to the Ghraib Street stairs! This two-acre piece of forest right in the middle of Pittsburgh behind the AGH hospital is truly becoming a scenic asset. We’re suspending on-site work for the winter, but we’ll be back at it with the help of our partners this spring and if things go well, we are looking at opening it to the public some time in 2022!
