In a thrilling final round, Pennsylvania Route 6 triumphed over the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway with a total of 2,913 votes to 765, capturing the hearts of scenic road lovers across the country.

This win comes at an especially exciting time for PA Route 6, which was recently named Pennsylvania’s newest official scenic byway. Scenic America proudly supported the designation through advocacy and technical efforts, helping to elevate awareness of this historic and visually stunning route. Stretching across the northern tier of the Keystone State, PA Route 6 is known for its rolling hills, charming small towns, and access to natural wonders like the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon.
