Scenic America and BMW Launch ‘Trees for Test Drives’ Partnership to Support Reforestation Efforts

Every test drive of a BMW electric vehicle or select hybrid models will result in 25 trees planted through Scenic America’s reforestation program

Washington, D.C. – Scenic America is proud to announce the return of its successful ‘Trees for Test Drives’ campaign in partnership with BMW. From October 11 through October 31, 2024, for every test drive of a BMW electric vehicle (EV) or select hybrid models at participating dealerships, 25 trees will be planted as part of Scenic America’s ongoing reforestation efforts. This initiative aims to make a tangible difference in communities across the country while promoting the adoption of environmentally-friendly vehicles.

Following the success of previous ‘Trees for Test Drives’ campaigns, Scenic America and BMW have teamed up once again to make a positive impact on the environment. This partnership has already resulted in the planting of over 30,000 trees in fire-damaged and vulnerable regions, contributing to habitat restoration, carbon sequestration, and the revitalization of scenic landscapes.

“Our partnership with BMW reflects our shared commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship,” said Scenic America Communications Director Max Duchaine. “With every test drive of a BMW EV or select hybrid, participants are directly supporting reforestation efforts that help restore and preserve our nation’s natural beauty.”

The campaign not only emphasizes the importance of planting trees but also highlights the environmental benefits of transitioning to electric and hybrid vehicles. BMW’s range of electric and hybrid models showcases advanced technology and performance while reducing carbon emissions, making it easier for drivers to choose sustainable transportation options.

Participating BMW dealerships across the United States will offer test drives throughout the campaign, providing opportunities for customers to learn more about BMW’s electric vehicle lineup while making a direct impact on reforestation.
